Abbey of la Maisontaal Part 3

A little bit more weathering and have managed to sort out the base.  Its going to have a walled courtyard similar to the one in white Dwarf.  I have also done the stone floor for the ground floor.  Some plastikard on some foam board painted up.

Abbey of la Maisontaal Part 2

Well the Abbey has been sprayed with GW old Roughcoat primer and two coats of Skeleton bone.  I have now started to weather it with some modelmates sprays.  Once I am happy with that I will start on the floors.

Abbey and other Terrain

Fitted the windows and bits of trim to the Abbey la Maisontaal.  Have now started putting on the base colour of Skeleton bone.  Still lots to do.

I am going to but it on a 2' x 2' board with some broken walls as well.

I have also been working on some sci fi terrain.  Some from Systema Gaming and some scratch built. Just got to work out what colour to do the floor on the large terrain piece and what colour to do the doors on the desert buildings.

The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring Journey Book

I started to get back into painting LOTR and started by going through the Fellowship Journey Book and sorting out all the minis needed for that.  I have managed to get a few painted in the last month as well as making a Barrow.

First up the fellowship

I am planning on building the scenery from the book as well as playing all the games.  Ring wraiths foot and mounted.

Abbey of la Maisontaal

One of my new Terrain projects is to build a damaged Abbey of la Maisontaal.  Taking my inspiration from the version in White Dwarf 267.  It will be in two sections so its possible to game inside.  I prefer this version to the old card one from the 1988 Citadel Journal as it will have more uses.  Its going to be quite large and fit on its own 2'x2' board

Mordheim Project

Well after hoarding the stuff for years I thought it was time I made a start on Mordheim.  Just wish I had bought more when it was available!  Bonus is I can use the war bands and terrain I create for Frostgrave if I decide.

USA Forces

Still painting but have been a bit slack lately with summer hols and screaming kids.  Got the Patton tank painted and some Armoured infantry.
