BEF and Early War Germans

Finally got round to painting some BEF and Early War Germans.  The BEF are from Warlord Games and The Germans from Wargames Foundry.  I've had the Foundry ones for years but could never decide on what paint colours to use but thanks to various guides on the internet I came up with suitable colours.   Now on to the poor pictures.

WW2 Bolt Action Terrain

I have been working on some terrain I can use for WW2 gaming, mainly Bolt Action.  I love the idea of Operation Sea Lion so am sorting out Terrain for my Brits to face up against the Germans.

Fist up is updating my polystyrene tiles from TSS.  They were rather bland being all the same colour so have added more flock which I think is a great improvement.

Next up I have got some MDF kits but I have never been very happy with them after painting and can't afford the pre painted types.  So I decided to clad them in Noch sheets.  My first test was a church with has turned out quite well.

Next up is my WIP on a row of terrace houses.

Still along way to go and have learned quite a lot from doing this so can hopefully make it easier with the next one.

All Quiet on the Martian Front - Reinforcements for the North African Pod

I have been busy getting more Tripods painted for my North African / Arabian pod.  The force now consists of

2 x Scout Tripods (1 with Targeter)

4 x Assault Tripods (1 with Black Dust)

Harvester Tripod

Gatherer Tripod

Royal Scientist Tripod

Dominator Tripod

Still to come includes Grenadier, Slaver, more Assault and a Reaper tripod. Along with drones and the Overseer Tripod to finish.

The Vengeance of the Lichemaster

Over on the Lead Adventure Forum they have an Army Painter thread that has been going for a couple of years. The idea is to get an army painted and show your progress.  I took part in 2016 and 2017 so will do again this year as it keeps me motivated.

For this year I am going to paint up miniatures for The Vengeance of the Lichemaster Warhammer Scenario from the Citadel Journal Spring 1986.

I have some miniatures I will need to collect and for other I will use proxies due to the cost of the original ones!

Epic Evil Sunz Clan

Finished my first clan for Epic and its the Evil Sunz Orks.  Took me a while as I was unsure how to paint something so small but ended up happy with the result.  Next time I will use black undercoat instead of the white.  Now I need to paint up some support cards which will be Stompa's , Pulsa Rockets , a Skullhamma battle fortress , Bonebreakas and Bonecrushas.  After that onto some Bad Moon Orks.

Armorcast Reaver Titan

I have been making a start on my Armorcast Reaver Titan.  Paint scheme wise it will be the same as the Warhound Titan. 

I managed to pick up some extra weapons in the form of a Chainfist, Powerfist and the inferno cannon so not sure what I will out on it but will paint them all up.

I also got a Chaos skull had just for fun
